The HSRCs have won a NATO grant to conduct at 10-day Advanced Study Institute on environmental assessment and remediation in Prague, Czech Republic, May 24 to June 2, 2001.

These workshops are offered to community stakeholders for the new EPA pilots receiving Brownfields Assessment Grants. These workshops will provide:

• basic information on Brownfields.
• ways which identify and enhance collaboration and co-operation between various activities at federal, state and local community levels.
• an environment to establish partnerships.
